I think we all have found ourselves caught between the sudden cravings for sweets and the known bug, not being able to eat sweets. Personally, I eat way too many of all those unhealthy sweets. One day, my doctor told me that I could get rid of some ailments when I change my eating habits and go on an alkaline diet for about 2-3 weeks. I agreed to omit meat and cheese as much as possible but did not want to give up on sweets completely. That's why I came up with these recipes:
Recipe 1
You need:
- 1 or 2 bananas
- almond cream (light and/or dark)
- honey
Optional:
- other fruits
- yogurt
- agave syrup
Recipe 2
You need:
- wholegrain bread
- almond and sesame cream
- honey or agave syrup
- raspberries
Optional:
- cashew / pistachio / macadamia cream
- other fruits
- self-made whole grain pancakes
Recipe 3
You need:
- 1 or 2 bananas
- sesame and cashew cream
- honey
- pistachios
Optional:
- other fruits
- yogurt
- agave syrup
Recipe 4
You need:
- wholegrain bread
- 1 or 2 bananas
- almond cream
- honey or agave syrup
Optional: - dark vegan chocolate 85-99% - self-made whole grain pancakes
Recipe 5
You need:
- wholegrain bread with
- cream cheese and walnuts
- almond cream with blueberries
and/or
- pumpkin or sweet potato soup
- cranberries
More sweet-tasting combinations:
- Goat cream cheese with honey (for example with bread or salad)
- Salad with pine nuts and honey dressing, cranberries or mountain cranberry jam
- yogurt or curd with fruits, muesli or nuts
